Here at the hospital our workers work very hard and the pay isn’t very high; So I started saving points and at the end of the year we had a worker appreciation week where we drew names every day for gifts. We had everything from toasters to umbrellas.

The workers were so excited because it was useful good quality products that they could use every day in their homes. We have 55 employees and everyone got a gift! Thank You!

Yes sir,

We at the Nestle Toll House Cafe by Chip love pulling the yellow decals off and saving them. All my team members are aware of them and we have a 100% compliance of not letting one get by.

I am saving all of our decals for something we can look forward to – a new Hi-Def TV would be nice.

I used my points this past Christmas season to buy raffle prizes for our company party. Due to Foodservice rewards I was able to supply enough prizes so that every employee who came received one!!

I also got a much needed new calculator for my office. Thanks so much for the opportunity to receive these wonderful prizes.

Sincerely,

Debbie Picard, Assistant Food and Nutrition Manager

We will also participate in their quarterly direct mail campaigns to members, be featured in a story in their member newsletter, participate in sales training to ProGroup staff and be listed on the ProGroup member websites. You may recall we successfully entered into a similar agreement with Unipro two years ago.

We’ll be repeating the Dot Foods e-marketing campaign for 2008 which will include E-Blasts and insertions into newsletters to Dot customers, banner ads on the Dot Expressway, and a Booth at Dot Show in May 2008 (1st non-food manufacturer to be allowed to do so).

    Campbell’s has Joined DSR Program:

  • DSRs now earn 1,600 points for each new operator enrollment, which will be announced via e-blasts in Jan, Feb, & March
  • Distributor Specific Promotions:

  • At Sponsors’ direction, we are working to target specific distributors using Sponsors’ brokers or local sales personnel to help drive participation. We provide help with the formal kick off and ongoing education, and often the activity ties into an existing sales promotion already being run by sponsor.

“Well, it’s better than a post hole digger”

“When I have enough points I will get a sausage grinder” writes Chef Adan Marshall of Rice University. Read why…

What can I say. My wife loves homemade sausage and does it the old school way. Trim and chop the pork butt and add spices, stuff casing by hand which is difficult enough. So when I have enough points I will get a sausage grinder.

(Did not tell her, but said “I have a surprise for you.”) Well, it’s better than a post hole digger and I may use it myself.

    Thank You,

    Hello,

We are soooo appreciative of the Foodservice Rewards program. We save every yellow pull off we can find and over the past few years we have used the rewards for Christmas presents and other gifts.

Last year we ordered a three piece set of Blue Corelle serving bowls that my wife loves and we use often. The year before a stainless steel set of kitchen utensils that we use all the time. If is always fun looking at the points we accumulate and see what we will get next. Thank you for the Foodservice Rewards Program!!!

    Upcoming Software Releases

Details on feature and functionality enhancements coming in software releases 11.1 and 12…

Release 11.1 is going to be a slightly shorter than normal release in order to take care of some necessary internal development items. The following release, Release 12, will follow the traditional format. Here are the FSR items included in each release.

    Release 11.1 – Tentative start date: March 3rd, 2008.

  • Upgrade to Oracle 10G
  • Quick Address Integration
  • BI is has changed its address validation software from First Logic to Quick Address (QAS). The implementation will be seamless to participants. The FSR UK program is already using the QAS software so our current experience with the product will help ensure a smooth integration.

  • Reward Code Generator Evaluation
  • The technology the Reward Code generator currently resides on is due for an upgrade. Before that can take place, we plan to evaluate the project to determine the best approach. The actual rewrite will be scheduled in an upcoming release.

  • FSR Content Manager Upgrade
  • The upgrade includes a more user-friendly interface and an export feature that simplifies language translations.

Release 12 – Tentative start date: Late April/Early May

  • FSR Add Segment/Ownership Type to verification calls
  • Segment and Ownership type will be added to the verification call screen to be verified upon enrollment. CSR’s can update either field if they find the participant to have selected a wrong option.

  • FSR Confirmation Emails for DSR’s
  • Informs DSR’s of override points earned by their customers redeeming Reward Codes.

  • Combine My Promotions process and eNewsletter process
  • Processing time can be cut almost in half by combining these two processes. It also reduces the risk of issues and discrepancies between the two items.

If you have questions about any of the above items, please let me know.

    Drive newsletter sign-ups

Use the ExtraPoints newsletter to drive operators to your own educational properties…

Campbell’s re-think soup website If you’ve been clever enough to create a custom website to educate operators be sure to drive traffic as Campbell’s has using the ExtraPoints newsletter and banners on the FSR website.

Reminder: we’ll co-fund enrollment points whenever the sponsor provides the media – whether it’s direct mail, websites, telemarketing, trade show activities, smoke signals or town crier.
