What’s the best/worst thing about working on Foodservice Rewards?

I enjoy that fact that it is a program that gives back. I do not enjoy that fact that there are rude people who won’t take 5 seconds of their day to benefit a hospital or school.

Food….I can be a glutton!!

What’s one thing about you that no one would ever guess?

My experiences in life for my age. I have been to many places, achieved a number of goals, and have done a lot of crazy things (i.e. jumped cars, done acrobatics on horses, bridge jumping, etc.) I enjoy living life to the fullest and I credit my people skills and understanding of sales to all of these unique positions I have been in.

Elvis Has Left The Building

It’s “bye-bye and good riddance” to Peter Crowe, who will miss terribly as he moves on to Bidvest…

Peter Crowe moves to BidvestAnd boy, I’m going to miss him. Peter Crowe has been instrumental in getting the foundation suite of sponsors together for the launch Foodservice Rewards.com.au – however, as a native Queenslander one can’t fault him for wanting to move back to the territory where his extended family lives.

I’m sure some will tease him about having gone to the “dark side” when they learn that he’s going to be the new Manager of Marketing and Purchasing at Bidvest (I’m among them), but it’s a super opportunity that would be a shame to pass up.

It’ll take three people to fill his mighty shoes, which is why we’ve invited Jody Dubuque from our Chicago office (and owner of the US relationships with Kraft, Sara Lee and Unilever) to spend six months Down Under while we hire and train an additional Coalition Manager. Also supporting Jody in Sydney will be Ron Marfori, Technical Project Manager from our operations group in Minneapolis.

Ron Marfori, Technical Project Manager

What’s your most embarrassing moment at work?

While on a phone with a client, I tried to say “You’re Welcome” and “No problem” at the same time and it came out “You’re Problem”!

What’s the best/worst thing about working on Foodservice Rewards?

Overhearing Ray’s customer service phone calls all day long.

Favorite Books/Movies?

Favorite movie: Napoleon Dynamite

Who was your childhood celebrity crush?

A toss up between Winnie from the Wonder Years and Kelly from Saved by the Bell.

What’s one thing about you that no one would ever guess?

Typically it’s my age although that’s slowly catching up to me. I turn 30 this year summer although I was recently carded for buying lottery tickets by a teenager who exclaimed “Whoa, you look young dude!”
